Attempting to reconnect
Once upon a time, Zoey and her daddy went for a walk in the woods. The sun shining through the trees made everything look magical.

Zoey skipped along, her pigtails bouncing with each step. She clutched her teddy bear tightly, feeling safe with her daddy by her side.

Daddy walked ahead, his smile brightening Zoey's day. He carried a backpack filled with snacks and water for their adventure.

Suddenly, Zoey spotted a bird soaring high above them. She pointed excitedly, her eyes wide with wonder at the beautiful creature.

But as they walked further into the woods, they heard a low growl. Zoey and daddy froze, their eyes widening in fear as they saw a wolf ahead.

"Daddy, what do we do?" Zoey whispered, fear creeping into her voice. They held hands tightly, slowly backing away from the wolf.

The wolf lunged towards them, its eyes glinting with hunger. Zoey and daddy ran as fast as they could, their hearts pounding with fear.

In a panic, they spotted a nearby tree and scrambled up its sturdy branches. Zoey and daddy clung to each other, waiting for the danger to pass.

Below, the wolf snarled and snapped, unable to reach them in the safety of the tree. Zoey and daddy watched, relieved to be out of danger.

After what felt like hours, the wolf finally gave up and slunk away. Zoey and daddy climbed down, holding hands as they ran back home, safe and sound.
