The World in 2030

In 2030, the world was a very different place. Global warming had created huge amounts of flooding, and many coastal cities had been completely destroyed. The resulting rise in sea level had also caused the extinction of many species of animals and plants.

The government had made drastic changes in an attempt to save the planet, and many of the world's resources were now rationed. People were only allowed to use a certain amount of electricity and water per day, and they were required to recycle everything they could.

The air was still polluted, but not as bad as it had been in previous years. Trees and plants had been planted everywhere in an attempt to absorb some of the pollution.

Despite the many challenges, people were slowly starting to adapt to the new world. They had to, because there was no going back.
