Muhammad was a shepherd just like many other boys his age. One day, he met a monk who recognized his potential and started to teach him about God and the importance of good deeds.

As Muhammad grew up, he became known for his fairness and intelligence. When a dispute arose among his people, they turned to him for guidance. He listened carefully to both sides and found a peaceful solution that satisfied everyone.

One night, when Muhammad was about forty years old, he was meditating in a cave when an angel appeared to him. The angel told him that he had been chosen by God as his messenger to teach people about Islam, the religion of peace.

Muhammad began spreading the message of Islam, but not everyone was happy about it. The powerful leaders of Mecca, where he lived, felt threatened by his teachings and tried to stop him. But Muhammad and his followers persevered.

As the conflict between Muhammad's followers and the Meccans grew, they were forced to flee to Medina, where they were welcomed by the people. This event is known as the Hijra and is celebrated as the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

Muhammad continued to teach and spread the message of Islam. His followers grew in number and strength, and eventually they were able to return to Mecca and establish Islam as the dominant religion in the Arabian peninsula.

Muhammad passed away in 632 AD at the age of 62. His legacy as a prophet, teacher, and leader continue to inspire millions of people around the world to this day. He taught people to be kind, to help one another, and to seek peace and unity.
