In a dreamland full of fear and fright,
A girl named Khaddojah stirs in the night.
Her eyes wander above to a sky so bleak,
Seeing shadows move, she cannot speak.
1
A darkness creeps behind her view,
A monster lurks, and she has no clue.
Her mind races, confused, but she must choose,
Run away or fight with all that she can use.
2
She takes up her sword and swings with force,
Running away, but she changes course.
Her feet trample red and yellow leaves,
As she fights off spiders and creepy thieves.
3
Through the foggy mist, a shape appears,
Khaddojah calms her breath and faces her fears.
A rock-like being with eyes so bright,
This friendly creature offers her a hand so light.
4
They walk together, through a forest so dense,
She looks to the creature, unsure of her sense.
Khaddojah cannot tell if he's friend or foe,
But she follows anyway, her pace so slow.
5
They walk until a bird startles them both,
Picking at her hair, yelling with boast.
Khaddojah held tight to her sword,
Fearing this bird might be more than absurd.
6
The creature speaks, assuring her he's not bad,
Khaddojah relaxes a little, though she's still sad.
Sad from a world of monsters and pain,
But this path they're walking might change that refrain.
7
Finally, they reach a clearing in the trees,
Where she sees butterflies, flowers, and bees.
This world so pretty, almost too sweet,
But Khaddojah thinks it's a dreamland she can keep.
