Sammy loved hearing stories, especially ones about Allah and Islam. One day, after evening prayer, he asked his father for a story.
1
His father smiled and said, "Today, I will tell you about one of the most beautiful Surahs in the Quran, Surah Al-Ikhlas." Sammy sat eagerly, listening intently.
2
His father explained, "Surah Al-Ikhlas is short but powerful. It tells us that Allah is the One and Only, who created everything."
3
In the past, some people asked Prophet Muhammad, "What is Allah made of? Is He made of gold or silver?" Surah Al-Ikhlas was revealed to answer them.
4
His father explained, "As-Samad means Allah is the Eternal Refuge, whom we rely on for everything. He is the One who does not need anything."
5
Sammy understood, "Allah is the One who always helps us and deserves our worship." His father added, "Remember, Allah is always near, listening to you."
6
Sammy said, "I will read Surah Al-Ikhlas every night before bed. It makes me feel safe and happy." His father smiled, encouraged by his son's devotion.
7
And so, Sammy learned that Surah Al-Ikhlas speaks about Allah, who needs nothing and deserves all love and worship. He made a habit of reading it regularly.
