Once upon a time, in a forest so green,
A lonely dragon with scales that gleam,
Woke up from slumber with a blink of his eyes,
Feeling sad and lonely under the skies.

His scales were as blue as the deep sea,
Glittering in the sunlight, oh how they'd be,
But even with such beauty, he felt all alone,
Dreaming of a place where he could belong.

With a leap and a flap, he spread his wings wide,
Flying high above the trees, ready to glide,
Searching for a place where he'd feel at home,
Somewhere he wouldn't have to roam and roam.

As he soared through the sky, his eyesight so keen,
A hidden cave in the mountains, he'd finally seen!
Filled with excitement, he started to hover,
Eager to find out what lay under the cover.

He entered the cave, and to his surprise,
Sparkling gems and gold coins, right before his eyes!
Curiosity took hold as he explored around,
Delighted by the wonders he had now found.

In a corner, he found a glow shining so bright,
A magical crystal, emitting a colorful light.
He touched it gently, feeling warmth in his heart,
Knowing this treasure was a true work of art.

To his amazement, the dragon soon saw,
Other animals and creatures he could call "paw".
The once empty cave was now filled with cheer,
And the dragon's lonely heart, filled with cheer.

They celebrated together, dancing around,
In the magical cave, a joyful sound.
The dragon found a place where he truly belonged,
A home filled with friendship, where memories were strong.
