In dreariness of dreamland, where shadows fall,
Lived Lhaddojah, a brave and tender soul
Who, searching for companionship, found gall
And oft was left alone to reach her goal.
1
Her heart was pure, her will was strong as steel,
But evil monsters lurked in every turn,
She struggled to discern what's fake and real
And yearned for love that she could safely earn.
2
On paths so dark and thorny, she went forth,
A lonely traveler seeking a friend,
She fought her fears and fought her doubts, due north,
And hoped the journey soon would find an end.
3
But in the moon's enchanting silver glow,
Lhaddojah's heart began to ease its strain,
For on the river's bank, serene and slow,
A fairy maiden danced, without a chain.
4
The flutter of her wings so lightly passed
Around Lhaddojah, like a sweet embrace,
And when the fairy spoke, Lhaddojah gasped,
To see a kindness shining from her face.
5
Together in the dark, they journeyed on,
The fairy light a silent, steady glow,
Until they saw a distant, golden dawn
Where they could find the lighted way to go.
6
With newfound friendship forging them as one,
Lhaddojah bravely faced the monsters' lair,
And though the road was hard and full of fun,
She and her friends emerged, without a tear.
7
And so Lhaddojah's journey found its end,
For in the light of friendship, she had found
A way to chase the shadows from her friend,
And fill her heart with joy, forever crowned.
