Attempting to reconnect
Once upon a time, there was a cat who dreamed of becoming a flamingo. She was tired of being just a regular cat.

She admired the tall, elegant flamingos that lived by the pond near her house. Their pink feathers shimmered in the sunlight.

The cat decided to try and mimic the flamingos. She practiced standing on one leg, wobbling a bit at first.

Her animal friends watched in amazement as she balanced on a log in the pond, pretending to be a flamingo.
