Once a year, all around the world, families gather to celebrate Eid al-Adha. On this special day, they remember the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son for God. Children wake up early, dress up in their best clothes, and join their families in prayer. They feel excited for the delicious food and the gifts they will receive. This year, Ali can't wait to join his family's celebration.

Ali helps his family choose a healthy sheep for the sacrifice. His father shows him how to sharpen the knife, then they lay the sheep down on a mat. Ali holds the animal's head while his uncle performs the sacrifice. His mother and aunts prepare the meat for the feast.
