Anansi's Plantain Predicament: A Web of Trickery

Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived a clever spider named Anansi. He loved to play tricks on his friends.

1

One day, Anansi asked Horse to fetch fire for roasting plantains. While Horse was gone, Anansi ate most of the plantains himself.

2

When Horse returned, he was surprised to see very few plantains left. Anansi tried to hide his guilt with a sly grin.

3

Later, Goat saw Anansi's trick and decided to teach him a lesson. Goat surrounded the fire with flames and took all the plantains.

4

Anansi was left with nothing, feeling regretful for his dishonesty and greed. He realized that tricking others had consequences.

5

Goat explained to Anansi that dishonesty can lead to losing everything. Anansi learned his lesson and promised to be truthful from then on.

6

Anansi and Goat became good friends, understanding the importance of honesty and kindness in their interactions with others.

7

From that day on, the forest animals lived harmoniously, sharing and caring for each other, knowing that honesty is the best policy.
