Once upon a time, in a meadow so wide, A donkey and a lion stood side by side.

The donkey was friendly, with long ears so grand, His fluffy tail swished as he stood on the land.

The lion was regal, with fur so gold, His mighty roar could be heard from afar, so bold.

His sharp teeth gleamed in the bright sunlight, With strong paws ready to pounce and take flight.

The donkey gazed at the lion with a gentle eye, A kind smile on his face as he stood by.

Despite their differences, they formed a bond so true, The lion and donkey, friends through and through.

They played in the meadow, full of joy and mirth, Proving that friendship is the greatest treasure on Earth.

The lion taught the donkey to be brave and bold, While the donkey taught the lion to be kind and hold.

And so in the meadow, they lived happily evermore, The lion and donkey, friends forevermore.
