The Divorce Dilemma: A Tale of Missing Pickups and Hot Chocolate Hiccups

Haya's parents had just divorced, and her dad promised to pick her and Mira up. But he never showed up.

1

Haya waited and waited for a text or call from her dad, but it never came. She felt sad and confused.

2

Mom noticed Haya's sad face and offered her a cup of hot chocolate. "It will make you feel better," she said.

3

Mom suggested going to the park with Mira and Haya. "Fresh air will help lift your spirits," she said cheerfully.

4

At the park, Haya and Mira played on the swings. Haya felt a little better, the laughter chasing away some of the sadness.

5

When they got home, Haya sat at her desk and started to draw. She drew her sadness, but also her strength.

6

Haya showed her drawing to Mom. "I feel sad, but also strong," she said. Mom hugged her tightly, understanding her feelings.

7

As they cuddled on the couch, Haya felt closer to her mom. Mom may not be able to fix everything, but her love helped.
