Enchantment in the Woods: A Beauty and the Beast Tale

In the midst of a forest, where the trees grew tall, Lived a young girl, who was the fairest of all. Her hair was like fire, her eyes a bright blue, And her skin was as fair as the morning dew. But with beauty came danger, for she was not alone, As a creature lurked nearby, with a heart of stone.

1

This beast was a creature not of this world, With fur that was blacker than the knight's banner unfurled. Its teeth were as sharp as the finest sword, And its roar could be heard for miles, like the sound of a horde. It lived in a cave deep in the woods, And many feared venturing into its neighborhood. But this young girl was brave, and she was not afraid, For she knew in her heart, there was more to this beast, than its parades.

2

One day, as she was walking in the woods, The creature suddenly appeared, and she knew it was no good. But instead of running, she stood still and sang, A sweet melody, that calmed the creature's fangs. The beast listened, and its eyes began to soften, As it realized, this young girl was no forgotten. She sang of love, and of a world of beauty, And the beast slowly began to see its true duty.

3

The beast then spoke, in a voice as low as a whisper, Of a time when it was not such a fearsome creature. It had once been a man, a prince in fact, But a wicked enchantress had put him under an evil pact. He was cursed to be a beast, for as long as he lived, And to never be seen, by those, for whom he longed, to be received. But here, he had found someone who saw him, For who he truly was, and not what he had become, in a whim.

4

The girl, touched by the beast's tale, Decided she must help him, to break the spell. Together they searched, for a solution to this problem, And in the end, they found what they needed, in a blossom. The beast drank from the flower, and slowly began to change, Back into a man, his appearance, one, that would be strange. The young girl's bravery, and her heart so pure, Had helped break the curse, and had made the beast, an equal, once more.

5

And so, the two became friends, in the midst of the woods, Together they walked, and talked, and shared stories, that were good. The young girl still sang, and the beast still roared, But they no longer feared, what lay ahead, and what was in store. For they each had found, something that was true, The girl and the beast, had found a love, that was new.

6

Years went by, and the two aged, But their friendship and love, did not, in any way, fade. They remained together, in the woods, where they had first met, And there they stayed, with happiness, as their biggest asset. For sometimes, true beauty lies not in what we see, But in what lies inside, in our hearts, and in our glee. And so, the girl and the beast, lived happily ever after, In the woods, where their true love flourished, forever and after.
