The Forest Frights: The Tale of Timid Tom in the Terrorizing Woods

Out in the woods, a man was seen, Tall and eerie, in a tangled scene.

1

Whispers heard with every breeze, Children hear and try to flee, From the man who makes their knees freeze.

2

Footsteps creak, eyes all a-glow, Through the forest, children know, His intentions are not for show.

3

In the darkness, his figure discreet, Children shiver, hearts skip a beat, As they realize, he's there to meet.

4

Echoes through the trees, all around, Children huddle, fear profound, In the woods where he is found.

5

In their minds, terror entwined, Through the trees, their fear confined, As the man in the woods is enshrined.

6

Safe at last, from the man's fright, In their beds, they say goodnight, But in dreams, he's still in sight.

7

From the man in the woods, do not stray, For in the shadows, he will lay, Waiting for you to come his way.
