The King was so focused on his own greed and power that he failed to see the suffering of the people of Borathia. He continued to take whatever he could, without regard for the well-being of the people. The people of Borathia had no choice but to obey the King, but they did not forget. They would never forget the suffering they endured at the hands of the King and they vowed to one day rise up and take back what was rightfully theirs.
